	Name: Curved Decking Specifications: Bent on Edge Kwila Decking Description: This project required alot of skill.. to 'bend' anything on edge is not possible, extruding is but not with Wood... Similarly our production method to manufacture Architraves is to cut from Solid. To bend the Decking as seen, radii and widths of timber had to be choosen prior to Design completion. The Kwila was 'Free-formed' supplied in Bags and fixed directly on site, drilled and nailed. In each radius section of the deck the widths of boards differed at the smallest radii, flowing to the outer radii/front step of the section. This change in widths achieved a very UNIQUE concept and Design for the Architect
